We are taking initiativ to create another festival in Oslo 2009! Please
come and make it happen in a DIY/DIT style with us 20-23 of August!
The whole festival will be free this year (except from the last
party) and we will only spend the money from last years festival to
fond this years queer festival. We will therefore not be able to offer
to cover any travel to Oslo, but it will be possible to apply for
travelmoney if we make any profit after the festival.
We are looking for anyone that wants to participate in making Oslo
Queer Festival happening again for the second time. We wish to create a
queer space with room for workshops, gigs, performances,
artexhibitions, exhibitions, discussions, films and videos. We welcome
anything that has a queer friendly perspective and expressions that
challanges and questions the norms in today sosciety.
There will be a stronger aspect on DIY/DIT at this years Oslo Queer
Festival, and so we hope you will want to participate in making this to
an inspirering, involving and including place for everyone attending!
Also,
this years festival will be the weekend just after Alborg Queer
Festival, so it just to pop over the water to come to us... ;) We will
ofcourse offer free acomodation for everyone, and cheap food for
donations during the whole festival! Oslo might be expensive, but not
for touristqueers!
