Greetings queer zine fans! Now that May has come, we're jumping into our summer schedule full tilt. QZAP is very happy to congratulate our intern Sam on graduating from high school. He'll be moving on to advanced zinestering and troublemaking at QZAP-U in the fall. We're also excited to welcome another new intern to the collective. Mel will be working the scanner and doing various orginizational, cataloging, and zine making tasks for the next couple of months. Welcome, Mel.
In other exciting news, Chris, one of the QZAP co-founders will be at the Denver Zine Fest in Denver, CO. on the 31st of May. If you're in the area, please stop by and say hello!
Finally, we got word today that the Milwaukee Zine Fest is definately on. It will be happening in our hometown of Milwaukee, WI from July 18th - 20th. We strongly encourage all midwest zinesters to join us on our home turf for a weekend of zines, workshops, bands, cookouts and general DIY fun.
